No Need to be Gloomy

Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever. Psalm 73:25-26 NLT

After a testimony of doubt and having an “Eeyore moment” earlier in the Psalm (I encourage you to read it) Asaph the psalmist realizes he was wrong and comes to this conclusion in today’s verse.

We too can get stuck thinking that the world is winning, but really it’s just an illusion. Don’t let yourself become gloomy by what you see. Delight in the Lord because it is God and us that end up winning.
